There were plenty of good ways to spend just a little money at Buncom Day 2011:
Front and center was the Official Buncom Country Store, operating under the expert guidance of Carolyn in the Bunkhouse.
The one-day-a-year Buncom Branch Library sold a lot of books for the Friends of the Ruch Library and their many projects supporting our library.
Brand new to Buncom Day this year were Kathy’s mini-Reiki bodywork sessions, with weary participants taking advantage of her healing touch.
Master Gardener Don had some mighty good looking tomato starts for sale. Note: it’s not Don’s fault that they may not have produced a bumper crop of red tomatoes given our wet and rainy and cold spring and summer.
Bo provided several dozen interesting tree specimens that were quickly snapped up by the Johnny Appleseeds in the crowd.
Multi-tasker Janis not only sold books, she had lovely bead craft on offer as well.
Lots of local businesses provided raffle prizes galore, including gift certificates from Cowboy Flowers, McKee Bridge Restaurant, and Ruch County Store; a fishing pole from Outpost Farm & Garden; wines from Fly High Vineyards and Madrone Mountain and Devitt Wineries; a wood carving by Phil Homan; a historic photo of Medford; and a custom sign by Buncom Artist-in-Residence Frank Maesen.
A hearty thank you to all these wonderful supporters of Buncom!
